Mahler's death in the spring of 1911 prevented him from completing his Tenth Symphony. This recording features Sir Simon Rattle leading the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in a version of the symphony completed by musicologist Deryck Cooke. It received the 2000 Gramophone magazine award for "Best Orchestral Recording" and "Record of the Year" as well as a Grammy Award for "Best Orchestral Performance."CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE.
