Native New Yorker Claudette
Sierra is a singular and versatile talent whose many gifts have been displayed
on stage and recordings as a singer, songwriter and actor. Claudette has
recorded and performed with Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Marc
Anthony, Tito Nieves, Ruben Blades and Jennifer Lopez. She has performed in
major theatrical productions including “Quien Mato a Hector Lavoe” off Broadway
and Paul Simon’s Broadway production of “The Capeman.”
Claudette has appeared
in venues as diverse as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Avery Fisher Hall,
The Brooklyn Academy of Music, and New York’s famed Rainbow Room, where she
developed the unique approach to singing a combination of American and Latin Standards
and to songwriting that has set her apart as an artist. She has also appeared
in television on The View, The Early Show, VH1 Storytellers and the MTV Music
Video Awards.
