    Osvaldo Golijov—Carnegie Hall's 2012–2013 Richard and Barbara Debs Composer's Chair—has that distinctive ability to transcend musical boundaries and create music that not only reveals personal influences, but also has the emotional power to touch our souls.

    Here, Golijov reveals what he believes will be one of the high points of his year as composer-in-residence—125 New York City high school singers performing his La Pasión según San Marcos.
