On March 29—as part of American Mavericks at Carnegie Hall—Michael Tilson Thomas, the San Francisco Symphony, and organist Paul Jacobs, perform Lou Harrison's Concerto for Organ with Percussion Orchestra .
San Francisco Symphony has dedicated one of its online listening rooms to the piece. As well as clips from the Organ Concerto and written program notes, you can listen to a recording of Harrison's wonderful introduction to the work from San Francisco's first American Mavericks series in 2000.
