Our A Golden Age of Music video series continues with a focus on Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, "Resurrection," which Carnegie Hall's Director of Artistic Planning Jeremy Geffen calls "a miracle and a question mark at the same time" and "about as personal a statement as any composer could make." Sir Simon Rattle and the Berliner Philharmoniker perform the work at Carnegie Hall later this month.
