• Bubbling All Inside: The Impact of Musical Connections

    Leila Fripp was 70 years old when she participated in a Musical Connections songwriting workshop at Valley Lodge Transitional Housing Shelter. “I am so proud of this evening, and I’ll never forget it,” she said onstage at the final concert, where professional Carnegie Hall musicians brought her original song to life. “Things I have wanted to be, I can still be at this age, and I’m just bubbling all inside about it.”
