The McGraw-Hill Companies CarnegieKids: Hot Peas 'N Butter

Jamaica Performing Arts Center
Bring your little ones to this free, interactive, 45-minute concert that’s designed for children ages three to six, and fun for the whole family!

Hot Peas ’N Butter pumps out party beats that make kids and adults alike want to dance. With songs in English, Spanish, and other languages, this energetic, multicultural show features traditional Latin and Afro-Caribbean music, jazz, folk, and rock. Formed by childhood best friends Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, Hot Peas ’N Butter was created as a way to play, according to Lapidus, “the music that feels truest to ourselves.” You may have seen the group performing their hit videos, “Number One” and “Deep Down” on Nickelodeon!

Come early for Jamaica Performing Arts Center’s Family Fun Day: Art Workshop at 1 PM.
