Music Director Mark Shapiro and the award-winning Cecilia Chorus of New York, one of New York’s long-standing choral societies, present Handel’s Messiah in a dramatically-oriented performance inspired by Handel’s affinity for opera. The performance, with orchestra, features debut and emerging vocal soloists including Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Ryan Speedo Green and Houston Grand Opera Studio graduate Lauren Snouffer.
