Lise Brunelle presents a recital of powerful and passionate repertoire, with works ranging from Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen to Purcell’s "When I am laid in earth" from Dido and Aeneas. She also performs "O ma lyre immortelle" from Gounod’s opera Sapho, "Dich, teure Halle" from Wagner’s Tannhauser, and more. With her extensive tessitura, she is able to sing both mezzo-soprano and soprano repertoire.
