McGraw-Hill CarnegieKids: Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower

Brooklyn Public Library, Central Library
Bring your little ones to this free, interactive, 45-minute concert that’s designed for children ages three to six, and fun for the whole family!

Elizabeth Mitchell, the first children’s music artist signed to the Smithsonian Folkways label in this century, channels the music of rock legends from Woody Guthrie to the Velvet Underground. Mitchell’s indie-folk style appeals to the entire family—fitting, since she performs with her husband Daniel Littleton and daughter Storey, along with a colorful gang of musical friends.
