Rarely do such musical powerhouses come together for one night on one stage, but when they do, the result is pure magic for all who are lucky enough to be in attendance. Such an occurrence will take place when superstar musicians Yo-Yo Ma and Emanuel Ax unite for a recital as part of Ax’s inventive Brahms Project, spotlighting the enduring legacy of the composer by paring works by Brahms with the New York premiere of a new work by Swedish composer Anders Hillborg.
