Manhattan Concert Productions presents the Masterworks Festival Chorus, the New York City Chamber Orchestra, and soloists, led by Guest Conductor Pearl Shangkuan in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem. Singers from across the United States perform an array of songs including For the Sake of Our Children by Jeffery L. Ames and “Where is Love?” by Lionel Bart, all under the baton of Guest Conductor Cheryl West. Henry Leck leads the National Children’s Festival Chorus in works for children’s choir, including the premiere of Ola Gjeilo’s Seasons, a specially commissioned work by Manhattan Concert Productions for their 2014 Children’s Choir Series.
