Carnegie Hall Family Concert: Natalie Merchant

Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Based on Natalie Merchant’s recent book-and-music project Leave Your Sleep, this concert features nursery rhymes and lullabies by 19th- and 20th-century poets set to Merchant’s beautiful melodies, with chamber orchestra, and projected illustrations by Barbara McClintock.

Leave Your Sleep Natalie MerchantImmediately following this concert, Natalie Merchant and illustrator Barbara McClintock will sign copies of their Leave Your Sleep book (CD included) in Citi Cafe on the Parterre level.

Prior to the day of the concert, copies of the book are available in the Carnegie Hall Shop, as well as online at carnegiehall.org/shop. Books will also be sold in the Carnegie Hall lobby during and after the concert. Please note that the artists will only sign books (limit one per child).
