L'histoire du Soldat

This production of Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale is a collaboration by the Yale School of Music and Yale School of Drama. The performance features a new English translation and stage direction by Liz Diamond, as well as music direction by David Shifrin. Collaborators include Scenic Designer Michael Yeargan, Costume Designer Ilona Somogyi, Choreographer Emily Coates, Lighting Designer Solomon Weisbard, and Production Stage Manager Hannah Sullivan. Tony Award-winner and Yale graduate Michael Cerveris is The Reader. The cast also includes James Cusati-Moyer as the Devil, Mariko Parker as the Princess, and Tom Pecinka as the Soldier.
