Musical Treasures 2014

Now in its 20th year, Musical Treasures from Bulgaria presents three young Bulgarian musicians in concert. Soprano Adriana Velinova has performed in roles such as Madame Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims, Parasha in Mavra, and Aurore in Le portrait de Manon. Career highlights for baritone Miloslav Antonov include Don Alvaro in Il viaggio a Reims and Junius in The Rape of Lucretia. Pianist Ethan Nanev made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2006. Adriana and Miloslav are both master’s degree students at the Mannes College of Music, and Ethan is a doctoral degree candidate.
