Art Contest
Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute
announces a contest for children ages 5–10 to create the cover art for
KidsNotes, the programs distributed at our Family Concert Series.
- Artwork may depict anything relating to the subject of
music.
- Artwork should not contain any words.
- There are no restrictions on medium, but we must be
able to scan the artwork.
- Artwork must be no larger than 8.5" x 11".
- Please include the following on the back of the
artwork:
- Child's name, school name, and grade level
- Parent or teacher’s name, e-mail address, mailing address,
and phone number
Please note that all artwork becomes
the property of Carnegie Hall and cannot be returned. Please share information
about the contest with K–3 art teachers in your school.
The winner's artwork will appear on
a future cover of KidsNotes, and the winner will receive free tickets to an
upcoming Family Concert.
