Carnegie Hall provides the following at no cost:
- a Link Up curriculum guide that teachers can download (featuring lessons on singing, playing the soprano recorder or violin, reading and notating music, and composing and improvising music)
- a CD and DVD resources that accompany the curriculum
- a Link Up workbook for each student
- a professional development webinar for lead teachers and orchestra administrators
- a concert repertoire list, concert script, and accompanying concert visuals
- access to Carnegie Hall's Online Resource Center with additional lessons and resources, including Link Up Beginnings, a skills-focused curriculum with audio for teachers and students
- access to the Link Up Online Community, which connects teachers, Carnegie Hall staff, and featured contributors to share ideas, student work, videos, and photos
- ongoing support and consultation regarding professional development for teachers, program implementation, and media/publicity planning
Your site provides the following:
- a culminating interactive concert(s) featuring an orchestra, conductor, and participating Link Up students
- a Link Up teacher professional development workshop(s) and direct support for participating local teachers
- Soprano recorders for all participants
- Program related needs, both artistic and administrative
- Recruitment of participating teachers and students from local public and/or private schools
- Ongoing communication with Carnegie Hall regarding program implementation
