For more than 35 years, Carnegie Hall has partnered with local and community organizations to bring talented classical, jazz, and world music performers to neighborhoods in all boroughs of New York City. This tradition continues during the 2013–2014 season with more than 30 free concerts by emerging and veteran artists from around the world. Tapping into the heartbeat of diverse communities, these fun and engaging performances bring together local residents and people from throughout the city to share in the extraordinary spirit and joy of music.
