Call for Materials
After years without an organized way to document its past, Carnegie Hall established its archives in 1986, and started an intensive search for artifacts to bring its colorful story to life. Today, the Carnegie Hall Archives preserves thousands of concert
programs, posters and fliers, musical manuscripts and autographed
artifacts, administrative files, and architectural drawings that have
helped build a record of Carnegie Hall’s history—but there are still
gaps to be filled.
