By the mid-1970s, the nonprofit Carnegie Hall Corporation had expanded and started occupying upper floor studios when tenants vacated. By September 2010, Carnegie Hall occupies the towers in full, undertaking renovations that will expand and improve the backstage areas and create new spaces devoted to music education.
