Carnegie Hall’s 2011–2012 season was marked by great artistry, innovation in music education, and exciting opportunities to share our resources with other institutions at the local, national, and international levels. In a season that celebrated the Hall’s 120-year history, we also made great strides toward creating the Carnegie Hall of the future, as can be seen in the remarkable physical transformation taking place at the Hall through its Studio Towers Renovation Project.–Sanford I.
