Carnegie
Hall seeks two eStrategy Interns. The interns will
develop valuable skills and experience, as well as earn school credit (if
applicable), by working as a member of Carnegie Hall’s eStrategy
Department. The interns will experience
what it’s like to work in an digital department at a fast paced and dynamic
arts institution by performing administrative tasks, attending department
meetings, assisting with the development of online content and providing
research and analytical support for the entire team. The goals of
the internship are: To become familiar with the daily
operations of an in-house digital department. To learn about digital strategy,
content creation and management, digital communications, such as social media,
email and blog content. Exposure to and participation in strategic marketing
and messaging for online arts audiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the
following: Work
on updating eStrategy content schedules, production schedules and shared
calendar. Create simple email templates as needed and update web pages. Maintain
digital files and content assets on internal drives and external platforms such
as YouTube and the Carnegie Hall FTP server. Provide research support for the
eStrategy Director, reviewing digital trends and data and information on new
developments in social media, mobile and tech industry.
Qualifications: The
interns are chosen based on academic background, professional skills, interests,
and career goals. One academic semester (fall/spring/summer), up to 20 hours per week
