    Carnegie Hall Performances on Wednesday, October 31 Cancelled Due to Hurricane Sandy

    (For Immediate Release, New York, NY)—Carnegie Hall today announced that all concerts scheduled for tomorrow—Wednesday, October 31—have been cancelled due to effects of Hurricane Sandy.

    Please note changes affecting the following two concerts:

    • The performance by the Mariinsky Orchestra with Valery Gergiev, originally scheduled for 7:30PM in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, has been cancelled. Patrons who purchased tickets with a credit card will receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased tickets with cash can return them to the Carnegie Hall Box Office to receive their refund.
    • Harpist Suzanna Klintcharova, presented by ArtFusion Paris, originally scheduled for 7:30PM in Weill Recital Hall has been postponed, pending the announcement of a new date. Patrons should retain their tickets, pending further instructions from Carnegie Hall.
