    Carnegie Hall Performances on Thursday, November 1 Postponed Due to Hurricane Sandy

    (For Immediate Release, New York, NY)—Carnegie Hall today announced that all concerts scheduled for tomorrow—Thursday, November 1—have been postponed due to ongoing effects of Hurricane Sandy.

    Please note changes affecting the following two concerts:

    The performance by the Orchestra of St. Luke's with conductor Nicholas McGegan originally scheduled for 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 1 at 8:00 p.m. with soloist to be announced. Tickets for the November 1 performance will be honored at the new date.

    The performance by pianist Wael Farouk, originally scheduled for 8:00 p.m. in Weill Recital Hall, has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 1 at a time to be announced. Tickets for the November 1 performance will be honored at the new date.

    As previously announced, Carnegie Hall performances originally scheduled for this evening—Wednesday, October 31—have also been cancelled.

    All additional concerts remain on the Carnegie Hall schedule pending the reopening of 57th Street in Manhattan. Patrons are encouraged to check carnegiehall.org for the most up-to-date information.
