This remarkable series features Chopin preludes performed by Daniil Trifonov, Grand Prize Winner at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition; Debussy preludes performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard; and music of Chopin and Schumann from Stephen Hough. You will also hear two long-time favorite visitors to Carnegie Hall: Mitsuko Uchida and Evgeny Kissin.

Daniil Trifonov won the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition with a musical maturity beyond his years, and made his triumphant Carnegie Hall debut last season with the Mariinsky Orchestra. Now, he performs in his first Carnegie Hall recital with a program that features works by Scriabin and Liszt, along with Chopin’s dazzling Preludes.
