This series, curated by jazz-piano legend Chucho Valdés, begins with a glimpse into the bright future of Afro-Cuban jazz with two rising stars of the genre, as well as an evening of rumba with the legendary Yoruba Andabo. As part of this series, Valdés also performs in his quartet and with other jazz-piano giants.

With singers, percussionists, and dancers, Yoruba Andabo performs ecstatic percussion-driven dances that reveal the ongoing influence of African religion and traditions in contemporary Cuba.
