The New York Pops

This season, Steven Reineke and The New York Pops chart a course through celebrated classics from Broadway and the Great American Songbook with trumpet sensation Chris Botti and “Broadway’s Golden Couple” Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley. The series also includes concerts that take an epic journey through iconic Hollywood film scores, pay tribute to the “King of Swing” Benny Goodman, and celebrate the holidays with Broadway’s original Mary Poppins, Ashley Brown.

You can almost taste the popcorn when The New York Pops performs great film music classics. This concert of Hollywood’s memorable musical moments includes favorites from The Wizard of Oz, celebrating the beloved classic’s 75th anniversary, and the music of the late Marvin Hamlisch. There will also be selections from some of today's most popular cinema scores, including The Dark Knight, Forrest Gump, Pirates of the Caribbean, and others.
