Subscription Ticket Exchange Policy

Subscribers may exchange subscription tickets for other events presented by The Carnegie Hall Corporation within the same season as the subscription. Tickets may be exchanged in person or by mail, and may be exchanged for any Carnegie Hall presentation except Family Concerts.

Please note that:

  • Ticket prices often vary from concert to concert, according to seat location. If the new assigned seats are of a greater value than those being exchanged, you will be charged the difference in price. If the assigned seats are of a lesser value, you will receive a refund for the difference in price. You may also choose to donate the difference.

  • Exchanges are based on ticket availability. We cannot guarantee that each request can be fulfilled.

  • Please note that no fees are charged for exchanging subscription tickets.

To Exchange Tickets in Person

The Box Office, located at 57th Street and Seventh Avenue, is open to process exchanges Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. Please note that these are the only times for in-person exchanges, and that exchanges cannot be processed during the two hours that precede any concert. Tickets may be exchanged at the Box Office up to two business days before the concert date. Exchange requests are based on ticket availability.
