The musicians of The Academy, working in a joint program of Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School, join forces with one of today’s most inventive young composers, Thomas Adès. He leads them in a program that includes some surprising British and Irish music―from England’s Baroque flowering with Purcell, right on up to Adès himself.
