Carnegie Hall Subscriptions - Orchestra of St. Luke's
Orchestra of St. Luke's

Join the Orchestra of St. Luke’s this season, an ensemble that Renée Fleming calls “one of New York’s greatest treasures,” as it explores the music of three different composers. The orchestra presents a concert version of Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov’s 2003 opera Ainadamar, a “masterpiece, destined to be among the great musical achievements of our time” (Atlanta Journal-Constitution); a concert devoted to the works of Mozart, whom Haydn himself called the greatest composer of the day; and a tribute to the prodigiously gifted André Previn, whose 80th birthday Carnegie Hall celebrates this season.

Robert Spano, Dawn Upshaw, Andreas Haefliger, Renée Fleming
