Soprano Dawn Upshaw, recently awarded a MacArthur “genius” grant, champions a new work in Zankel Hall to kick off a series featuring lyric tenor Paul Groves, finnish Mozartian Soile Isokoski, and song siren Angelika Kirchschlager in a series devoted to the great art of song.
