Carnegie Hall Subscriptions - Distinctive Debuts I
Distinctive Debuts I
Welsh pianist Llŷr Williams has earned numerous accolades in the United Kingdom—he is a former BBC 3 New Generation Artist and winner of the 2004 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award—and he will be making his New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall as part of Distinctive Debuts. The Jupiter String Quartet, a group that gains admirers wherever it plays, is sure to win over its first Carnegie Hall audience. Jennifer Montone, “one of the best young French horn players in the country” (St. Louis Post-Dispatch), and 18-year-old German violinist Veronika Eberle also perform here for the very first time. Join these rising stars—hand-picked by Carnegie Hall to make their debuts in the incomparable jewel-box, Weill Recital Hall—after each recital for an intimate reception.
