Carnegie Hall Subscriptions - Early Music in Weill Recital Hall
Early Music in Weill Recital Hall

Harpsichordist Richard Egarr, praised for his “vigorous” and “expressive” playing (Chicago Tribune), takes on the first book of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, while violinist John Holloway, cellist Jaap ter Linden, and harpsichordist Lars Ulrik Mortensen perform sonatas by other 18thcentury masters. Grammy-nominated coloratura mezzo-soprano Vivica Genaux and members of the “vibrant, visceral” (Time Out New York) Venice Baroque Orchestra complete the series.
