KidsNotes Arts Contest

The Weill Music Institute ›   Family Concerts ›  Art Contest

The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall announces a contest for children ages 5–10 to create the cover art for KidsNotes, our Family Concert program. The theme of the contest is "MUSIC!"

  • Illustrations may depict anything relating to the subject of music but should not contain the word "KidsNotes."
  • There are no restrictions on medium, but we must be able to scan the artwork.
  • Artwork must be no larger than 8.5" x 11" and should be oriented vertically rather than horizontally.
  • The child's name, address, home phone number, school name and grade must be listed on the back.

Please note that all artwork becomes the property of Carnegie Hall and cannot be returned. Please share information about the contest with K–3 art teachers in your school. Either art teachers or parents can submit artwork.

The winner's artwork will appear on a future cover of KidsNotes, and the winner will receive free tickets to an upcoming Family Concert.
