The registration form for LinkUP! (with final student numbers) is due October 1, 2009. Any registrations received past this date will be put on a waitlist and only enrolled if space permits.

Carnegie Hall can accept personal check, school check, cash or purchase order for LinkUP!. Please note that a copy of the purchase order must be sent to Stephanie Rodousakis via fax at 212-307-5766 or via e-mail at srodousakis@carnegiehall.org by January 1, 2010. Carnegie Hall currently cannot accept credit cards for LinkUP!.

The teacher fee for LinkUP! is $30 and the student fee is $6. Click here for details.

Only one teacher should be listed on each LinkUP! registration form. If your school has multiple participating teachers (those attending the Professional Development Workshops and implementing the program), please have each teacher sign up on a separate registration form and send all registrations in together. Please call 212-903-9628 with any questions.

For schools paying with a purchase order, a copy of the PO must be submitted by January 1, 2010; full payment is due by May 27, 2010. Payment with personal or school check is due by January 1, 2010.

No. LinkUP! is designed for both music teachers and general classroom teachers working with third- through fifth-grade students.

Yes. Every participating teacher is required to attend a LinkUP! Professional Development Workshop regardless of past participation in the program.

All LinkUP! Professional Development Workshops take place at Carroll Studios, located at 625 West 55th Street between 11th and 12th avenues. Click here for a map.

There are several parking garages located near Carroll Studios. The easiest way to find these is to visit nyc.bestparking.com/#1. This website provides you with an estimate of how much it will cost and specific locations. There is also parking located on the east side of 11th Avenue (also called West End Avenue) between 57th and 58th streets, at 622 West 57th Street between 11th and 12th avenues, or at 641 West 59th Street between West End and 12th avenues.

Your LinkUP! materials will arrive within two–three weeks of attending a LinkUP! Professional Development Workshop. Please note that materials will not be sent out until teachers attend the required Professional Development Workshops.

Yes. LinkUP! now includes resources for strings teachers woven throughout the LinkUP! curriculum.

Your LinkUP! tickets (one per participating teacher per semester) will be mailed to you appoximately one month before your confirmed concert dates.

Each teacher is allotted one chaperone (parent, teacher, etc.) at no cost for every 10 students. For example, if a teacher enrolls a class of 30 students, he or she will automatically receive three additional seats for chaperones, 30 seats for students and one seat for the teacher, totaling 34 seats. Extra adults, subject to availability, are an additional $6 each. Please note that parents/adults may not purchase individual tickets. Additional adult tickets must be reserved by the participating teacher listed on the registration form.

No. Parents may not purchase tickets to LinkUP!. If parents are interested in attending the concerts, they must come with their child's school as a chaperone or as a pre-arranged additional adult. Parents may not call or visit Carnegie Hall to purchase LinkUP! tickets.

No. Photography and videography are not permitted at LinkUP! concerts in accordance with Carnegie Hall's policies.

Before the LinkUP! concerts, buses should drop children off on the east side of Seventh Avenue, facing south, in front of the Zankel Hall marquee. After the 10:15 AM LinkUP! concert, buses should line up along the east side of Seventh Avenue, facing south, at 11 AM to pick up the students. After the 11:45 AM LinkUP! concert, buses should line up along the east side of Seventh Avenue, facing south, at 12:30 PM to pick up the students. Please note that buses cannot wait in front of Carnegie Hall during the concert.

Doors open 30 minutes before each LinkUP! concert. As these events are general admission (no assigned seats), the earlier you arrive, the closer you'll be to the stage.

Carnegie Hall staff selects student musicians who play the soprano recorder, the violin, or sing in a vocal ensemble to perform on stage during each LinkUP! concert. Teachers interested in this opportunity should submit an audition tape on VHS or DVD to Carnegie Hall staff, postmarked no later than March 12, 2010.

The LinkUP! audition VHS/DVD should include students playing or singing LinkUP! repertoire from the LinkUP! The Orchestra Rocks guide. Each student included on the audition VHS/DVD should have all pieces memorized. Please include your school name, teacher name, the total number of students in the group, the grade level of each student, and the instrument on which they will be performing.

If the weather is nice, Central Park is only two blocks away. There is also a public atrium between Sixth and Seventh avenues with entrances on West 56th 57th streets.
