The Teaching Artist Collaborative supports practicing and emerging teaching artists and musicians in acquiring skills, experience, philosophies, relationships, and ideas to more effectively serve students and community members of New York City.
Comprised of a diverse community of musicians from around New York City, the Teaching Artist Collaborative is a community committed to developing and practicing Teaching Artistry at the highest level.
The year-long program includes:
- Monthly professional development workshops during which teaching artists work with leaders in the field of Teaching Artistry and share ideas in supporting and developing best practices
- Professional development sessions with public school teachers
- Opportunities to partner with teachers in classrooms, using curriculum with Skills Based, Integrated Learning, and Creative Learning Projects. Learn more about Carnegie Hall school programs here »

The Teaching Artist Collaborative is not currently accepting applications for new Teaching Artists, but we welcome your resume to keep on file for future consideration.
