Baroque music specialist Ton Koopman leads 24 singers and a small period-instrument chamber orchestra in an intimate workshop focusing on Bach choral works. Applications will be accepted for both singers and instrumentalists. Vocalists must have a strong interest in Baroque performance style, and instrumentalists must play on period instruments. Soloists, if any are required, will be chosen from the chorus. The culminating performance will take place in Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. Vocal applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35. Instrumental applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
This workshop is also open to auditors for a nominal registration fee. An Auditor Brochure will be available during the summer.
