Monk on Monk: Vocal Works of Meredith Monk

Meredith Monk and members of her Vocal Ensemble will train a new generation of 20 singers in the performance practice of her compositions for voice—all of which rely on un-notated oral tradition and a few of which involve simple movement. The culminating performance will take place in Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. Applications will be accepted for all voice types and vocal styles. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35.

This workshop is also open to auditors for a nominal registration fee. See below for an Auditor Brochure.
