The David Robertson Workshop: Music of Messiaen and Varèse

Conductor David Robertson leads a workshop for 30 young performers on the music of Olivier Messiaen and Edgard Varèse. The workshop will focus on Messiaen's Oiseaux exotiques and Sept haïkaï and Varèse's Déserts. Robertson will conduct the culminating concert in Zankel Hall. Applications will be accepted for winds, brass, and percussion. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30.

This workshop is also open to auditors for a nominal registration fee. See below for an Auditor Brochure.
