Orchestra Winds and Brass

The leading wind and brass musicians from The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and The Philadelphia Orchestra will come together in this workshop to guide young artists through the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing with professional orchestras. During the week, participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of styles and orchestral culture from the workshop's faculty. The workshop will include one-on-one lessons on orchestral excerpts, leading to public mock auditions. The week will also focus on sectional playing, culminating in a final concert in Carnegie Hall on November 14, 2008.

Full workshop information will be added to this page at a later date.
