NOVEMBER 1 RECITAL BY PIANIST YUNDI LI HAS BEEN POSTPONED

NEW YORK, NY, September 24, 2009—Carnegie Hall today announced that the recital by pianist Yundi Li scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. as part of Carnegie Hall’s three-week Ancient Paths, Modern Voices festival celebrating Chinese culture is postponed to Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. It is with great regret that Mr. Li has to postpone this performance for family reasons. Also, Mr. Li has to withdraw from both of his other festival events—a recital and master class on November 2 and 3—at Flushing Town Hall in Queens, presented as part of the Neighborhood Concert Series by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. A replacement artist for the November 2 Flushing Town Hall recital is to be announced.

Tickets for the November 1 recital will be honored at the rescheduled date of May 20, 2010. For details, ticketholders should call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.
