Conductor For Opening Night Program To Be Announced
Carnegie Hall today announced that
James Levine, who was originally scheduled to conduct the
Boston Symphony Orchestra on
October 1, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, must regrettably withdraw from this performance due to the need to undergo immediate surgery for a herniated spinal disc. A new conductor for the Opening Night program will be announced as soon as it is confirmed. For further ticket information, the public may contact CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.
