Henry T. Segerstrom
The annual Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence honors an executive whose accomplishments in the corporate sector complement Carnegie Hall’s stature as one of the premier performance venues in the world.
Mr. Segerstrom’s acceptance of this award follows the recent launch of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts’s bi-coastal partnership in presenting major festivals with Carnegie Hall. This represents the first time in its 120-year history that the Hall has partnered with a performing arts center outside New York.

On Monday, April 7, 2008, Carnegie Hall proudly presented
Terry J. Lundgren, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Macy’s, Inc. with the Medal of Excellence in the Gala’s third year. The event raised $4.2 million in support of Carnegie Hall’s artistic and education initiatives.
