LITTLE MUSIC MAKERS

$6 tickets! Be a Carnegie Kid! Children enter into the "Sound Playground" with engaging, imaginative host-musicians Mark Stewart and Rob Schwimmer of Polygraph Lounge and explore the question "What is a Soundmaker?" Students sing and create original music together and experience a variety of inventive instruments during these 45-minute concerts, held in Carnegie Hall's intimate Kaplan Space.

Program Features

Musical hosts will lead students in a musical exploration of:
  • Found Objects, such as a baseball helmets and hairbrushes.
  • Made Up Instruments, such as a chaladoo.
  • Items found at home, such as plastic water bottle flutes.
  • Street Noises, such as those made by animals, vehicles and people.
Students sing and dance along with Polygraph Lounge in this musical journey through the “Sound Playground.”

Ticket Information

Tickets for both fall and spring concerts are $6 each.

To Purchase Tickets

  

  • Call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 (open 8 AM–8 PM, 7 days a week).
  • Visit the Box Office on 57th Street at Seventh Avenue (Mon–Sat 11 AM–6 PM and Sun 12–6 PM, except on mornings of The McGraw-Hill Companies CarnegieKids performances, when the Box Office opens at 9:30 AM).

Note
At least one chaperone is required per 10 children. Every person in attendance must have a ticket. Groups of 20 or more may purchase an unlimited number of tickets (pending availability) via credit card at the time of booking. Unpaid group reservations are limited to 60 tickets for one concert or 30 tickets each for two concerts. All payments for group reservations are due three weeks prior to the concert date; if payment is not received by that deadline, the group reservation will be released for public sale. Group sales are available through CarnegieCharge only.
