Online Ticketing
You may purchase tickets online by using our interactive Calendar of Events. Browse for concerts by date or use the search box to search for artists, composers, or other keywords. Concerts with available tickets feature a Buy Tickets link that allows you to choose a seat and charge your purchase to your American Express, Mastercard, or Visa credit card.

Online ticket orders are confirmed by e-mail. Depending on the delivery method you choose during checkout, your tickets will either be mailed to the billing address that you specified or will be held at the Box Office located at 57th Street and 7th Avenue. If any concert in your order occurs within ten days of the order date, however, all tickets in the order will be held at the Box Office. In addition, if your billing address is located outside the United States, your tickets will be held at the Box Office. To pick up tickets, you must present a picture ID and the credit card used in the transaction.

Because some seats are not sold online, tickets may be available even if our website indicates otherwise. Call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 or visit the Box Office for more information. View Box Office hours.

Certain discounts and some other benefits offered as part of Carnegie Hall membership and ticketing programs can be redeemed online by eligible members by signing in. In some cases, a promotional code must be entered after signing in. To sign in, click Sign In in the upper right corner of the website. For the best service, sign in before you begin the purchase process.

Purchased tickets cannot be refunded, and non-subscription tickets cannot be exchanged. If you are unable to use your tickets to Carnegie Hall presentations, you may donate them to Carnegie Hall as a tax-deductible contribution. Learn more about donating your tickets.

Promotional Offers
Promotional codes (also sometimes called discount codes) appear on advertisements, direct mail, e-mails, and the website, among other materials, and can be used to activate discounts or special offers. To use a code, enter it into the promotional code box before you select your section during the ticketing purchase process.

Please note that discounts and special offers activated by codes are subject to availability and prior sale, are not valid on prior purchases, and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Program Changes and Cancelations
Programs and artists are subject to change. If an event presented by Carnegie Hall is canceled or postponed, any changes are announced—if time permits—by e-mail, by voice mail, a letter sent to your home, on carnegiehall.org, on classical radio stations in the tri-state area, and on New York Times advertisements. If you would like to confirm that a concert is taking place, call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800.

Unable to Use Your Tickets to Carnegie Hall Presentations?
If you are unable to use your tickets to a Carnegie Hall presentation, you may donate them to Carnegie Hall as a tax-deductible contribution. Call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 for more information, or return your tickets to the Box Office. You can make this tax-deductible donation anytime up to two hours before the show. Of course, we hope you will attend, but if you cannot, your donation will be gratefully accepted.

Never Received Your Tickets in the Mail?
If you requested that your tickets be mailed but did not receive them within 10 days of placing your order, call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800. Please make sure to have your account information with you when you call. A representative will help you make alternative arrangements. View CarnegieCharge hours of operation.

Third-Party Ticket Purchases
Carnegie Hall is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third-parties such as ticket brokers or online outlets. We cannot guarantee that tickets purchased from third-parties are valid, and therefore we cannot guarantee admittance. Tickets purchased from third-parties may be priced much higher than the ticket’s actual face value. Further, tickets purchased from third-parties cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, and we will be unable to contact holders of such tickets about program changes, cancellations, or with other information.

Help us to serve you in the best manner possible by purchasing your tickets only at the Carnegie Hall Box Office, CarnegieCharge at (212) 247-7800, or online at carnegiehall.org.

Ticket Scanning
Carnegie Hall electronically scans tickets for entry into Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, Zankel Hall, and Weill Recital Hall. This process is tremendously useful because it helps prevent ticketing and seating problems that can cause pre-concert delays or long lines in the lobby. The scanning system reads unique barcodes printed on each ticket to insure that the ticket is valid. This also enables you to retain your entire ticket as a souvenir of the concert. When exchanging or donating a ticket, the barcode is simply deactivated, making that particular ticket void for admission. Please be aware, however, that any reprinted ticket completely invalidates the original. Only the most recently printed ticket for a specific seat location at a given performance is valid for entry. Invalidated tickets will not be accepted for admission.

If you have any questions, please call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 or e-mail us at feedback@carnegiehall.org.

Group Ticket Discounts
Groups of 20 or more, contact our Group Sales Desk at 212-903-9705 or groupsales@carnegiehall.org for discounts of up to 10% on select concerts.
