Falu is quickly becoming recognized for a rare ability to seamlessly blend Indian classical, alternative rock, contemporary pop, and electronic styles to create a mix of East and West—ancient and modern—in a genre-defining hybrid that has been called “Indie Hindi.”

Falu has performed as a soloist with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project and has collaborated with Wyclef Jean, lending her distinctive vocal style to the score of Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut, A Place in Time.

Media Sponsor: Time Warner Cable

Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concerts are supported, in part, by The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation.
