Priya Purushothaman is a North Indian Hindustani Classical vocalist with a versatile musical background in both Indian and Western classical music. In 2008 she made her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the Grammy-winning opera Ainadamar by Osvaldo Golijov. This concert is a glimpse into a traditional Hindustani vocal performance, accompanied by Sai Shyam Mohan on tabla and Swarup Swaminathan on harmonium.
