There are no tours from July through the end of September. Tours are anticipated to resume as of October 1, 2016.
All tours are subject to the Hall’s performance and rehearsal schedule.
When possible, Carnegie Hall tours are offered from October through late June. As they become available, public walk-in tours may be offered Monday through Friday at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM; Saturday at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM; and Sunday at 12:30 PM, although tours are subject to the Hall's performance and rehearsal schedule. Tours can be cancelled at any time due to changes in the Hall’s schedule. Current availability is shown to the left.
There is no bag, coat, or stroller check available during normal tour hours at Carnegie Hall. Roller bags, large suitcases, and/or bulky backpacks are not permitted inside Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage on tours. These items must be stored at an offsite location.
Tour tickets are available at the Carnegie Hall Box Office. They are $17 for adults, $12 for students and seniors over 62, and $12 for children 12 and younger. Please arrive early to purchase tickets at the Box Office; availability is limited. Tours depart from the main lobby.

A limited number of group tours are available by appointment.
Only groups of 20 or more are eligible to schedule tours of Carnegie Hall in advance. All other tours are given on a walk-in basis only.
Tours are given Monday through Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM. Group requests for specific dates and times may be submitted up to four months in advance by filling out the form on the right.
The rate for group tours of 20 or more is $17 for adults, $12 for students and seniors over 62, and $12 for children 12 and younger.
Tour requests are confirmed approximately four weeks prior to the desired tour date.
Once a tour is confirmed, payment is requested one week in advance of the tour date, preferably by credit card.
The tours last approximately one hour.
There is a 72-hour cancellation policy.

We will work to accommodate your first choice request. However, Carnegie Hall is a working concert facility. For that reason, we ask you to provide two alternative days and/or times for your group tour.
