We seek a Building Services Manager to work closely with the Director of Building Services in supporting the maintenance and operations of this landmark building.  S/he also directly oversees the Building Services Associate who also provides clerical and administrative support to the Director of Building Services, Capital Projects, and Engineering as well as the Chief Administrative Officer, as needed.   
Manage operations of Porters and Lobby Attendants (L32BJ).  
o Establish work schedules for cleaning of Resnick Education Wing (REW), Banquet Spaces, Administrative Offices and Building Exterior, including sidewalk cleaning, pigeon control on upper roofs and snow/ice removal
o Work with Foreman to assign crew members to weekly event-based cleaning schedule and project-related work orders and make daily schedule adjustments as necessary
o Perform quality checks and ensure standards of cleaning are met
o Create schedules and process weekly payroll using Ceridian DayForce Biometric Timekeeping System
Assist Foreman with procurement of cleaning supplies and maintaining of cleaning systems and janitorial closets
Maintain Building Services storage areas and cleaning supplies inventory
Maintain Si-Pass Access Control and Siveillance CCTV Systems
Maintain Proxyclick Visitor Management/Work Order System 
Other projects as assigned

Special projects (management, needs assessment, initial set-up, data input, testing, and implementation -- of following systems):

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in a positive and productive manner inter- and intra-departmentally to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability and experience in overseeing staff, with a unionized crew oversight a plus
Strong organizational and computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Access (basic) and ability to assess, learn and implement new systems
Ability to multi-task and otherwise track many projects at once through completion 
Understanding of security systems with knowledge of Siemens’ SiPass and Siveillance a plus
Understanding of basic accounting and budgeting procedures
