We proudly work in support of Carnegie Hall’s unrivaled music education and outreach programs that annually serve over half a million children nationwide, and are currently accepting applications for new team members who have the PASSION and CONVICTION required to contribute to our ongoing success.
We are seeking candidates who are charismatic, reliable, persistent and enthusiastic for this critical mission.
Fundraising/sales experience required; a background in the performing arts highly preferred.
Qualified candidates MUST:
*Be able to read from a script confidently and naturally, and
*Be receptive to ongoing coaching
Most of all, this is a SALES position, NOT a customer service job. You need to be able to overcome objections (turn NO’s into YES’s), and have what it takes to CLOSE SALES!
If hired, you MUST:
*Be available to begin work immediately.
*Be available for paid training.
*Be able to work 20 hours per week, split over five 4-hour shifts on 5 different days. Evening shifts are available Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm; morning shifts are available Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
*Have basic computer literacy and a professional phone manner.
NO COLD CALLING! You will be calling Carnegie Hall audience members and donors.
Compensation: BASE + COMMISSION + BONUSES, plus access to see some of the world's top orchestras rehearse, and comp tickets for select Carnegie Hall performances!
