When is the last time you had a job you could believe in?

If you are looking for longterm part-time work, and you believe that Music and the Arts are an essential and transformative force for both society and humanity, then DCM wants you to join our record-breaking FUNDRAISING team at Carnegie Hall! We proudly work in support of Carnegie Hall’s unrivaled music education and outreach programs that annually serve over half a million people nationwide, and are currently accepting applications for new team members who have the PASSION and CONVICTION required to contribute to our ongoing success.

We are seeking candidates who are charismatic, reliable, persistent and enthusiastic for this critical mission. You must also be able to read from a script confidently and naturally, and be receptive to ongoing coaching. Most of all, this is a SALES position, NOT a customer service job. You need to be able to turn NO’s into YES’s and have what it takes to FUNDRAISE!

Qualifications
Requirements:

Fundraising/sales experience required; a background in the performing arts highly preferred.

If hired, you must:

*Be available to begin work immediately, through June 30th (the end of the campaign).

*Be available for paid training.

*Be able to work 20 hours per week. Evening and day shifts are available as follows: Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, plus morning/afternoon shifts Friday and Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

*Have basic computer literacy and a professional phone manner.

NO COLD CALLING! You will be calling Carnegie Hall audience members and donors.

Compensation: BASE + COMMISSION + BONUSES, plus access to see some of the world's top orchestras rehearse!

Although the campaign ends on June 30th, telefundraisers in good standing will have the opportunity to be invited back for the next campaign beginning in August.

Interested applicants should call 212-424-2034. Please leave a message including your name and phone number, and describe your qualifications and interest (HINT: this is your first interview!). Qualified candidates will be contacted to further discuss the position and schedule an in-person interview.
